UPSC CDS II Vacancy Description:

Total Number of Vacancies: 464

Names of Courses:

1. Indian Military Academy: 200 Vacancies

2. Indian Naval Academy: 45 Vacancies

4. Officers Training Academy (Men): 175 Vacancies

5. Officers Training Academy (Women, Non-Technical): 12 Vacancies

Age control: All interested and eligible unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 01st 1991 and not later than July 01st 1996 can apply for IMA & Indian Naval Academy Posts, and unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 02nd 1992 and not later than July 01st 1996 can apply for Air Force Academy Post, male Candidates (Married or Unmarried) born not earlier than July 02nd 1992 and not later than July 01st 1996 can apply for Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men) Post, Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorces (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried and have been born not earlier than July 02nd 1992 and not later than July 01st 1996 can apply for Officers Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Posts.

Academic Records: All interested and eligible candidates should have to complete Degree from recognized University or equivalent for IMA & Officers Training Academy, have to pass Degree in Engineering & Degree from recognized university/ institution for Indian Naval Academy, have to qualify Degree of a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering for Air Force Academy.

Selection Model: All interested and eligible candidates are selected on the basis of Written Exam & Interview, Personality Test.

1. In the case of Pay by cash Mode: Candidates are should have to pay the fee by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI on or before Aug 17th 2014 by 23:59 hrs.

2. In the case of Net Banking Mode: Candidates are required to pay the fee by using net banking facility of SBI (at relevant states),

3. In the case of Online Mode: Candidates need to pay the fee by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit card on or before Aug 18th 2014 by 23:59 hrs

How to Apply: All interested and eligible candidates are required to apply through online mode available form the official and authorized website www.upsconline.nic.in on or before Aug 18th -2014 by 11:59 PM.

1. First before applying candidates have to scan photo and signature in .jpg format with file not exceeding 40 KB each and not less than 3 KB for Photo and 1 KB for Signature.

2. All candidates should have valid and active Email id.

3. Navigate and log on to the website www.upsconline.nic.in. 

4. Need to click on the link “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC”.

5. Choose and select the appropriate Post and click on “Click Here (Part -I)”.

6. Fill all the mandatory fields carefully like name, gender, etc and click on “Continue”.

7. System will generate Registration-Id, retain it for further more use.

8. Make sure that payment as mentioned above and retain the details for entering in Part -II registration.

9. Again Relogin and click on “Click Here (Part-II)”.

10. Relogin again by using Registration-Id & Date of Birth.

11. Fill all the required details carefully and upload scanned photo and signature and click on “Submit” Button.

12. After submission of Online Application take print out to make a of finally submitted application and retain it for future use.
